Tandberg utökar den prisade C-serien med nya C40

Tandberg meddelar att man har utökat den branschledande C-serien med den nya C40-kodeken för att möjliggöra ännu större flexibilitet för storskaliga videoinstallationer. C40 bygger på den prisbelönta Tandberg C90, som är marknadens mest avancerade kodek för telepresence, och är utvecklad för att uppfylla behoven för företag av alla storlekar och därmed öka tillgänglighet för högkvalitativa videomöten och telepresence.

C40 återspeglar Tandbergs åtagande att göra video av högsta klass i upp till 1080p-upplösning tillgängligt för alla. C40 ger dessutom möjlighet att koppla upp flera platser, multipla mikrofoner eller andra ljudkällor samt en full uppsättning med programmeringsgränssnitt (API) för att möta systemintegratörernas behov. Tandberg är idag den enda aktören som erbjuder ett system där bildkvalitet kodas individuellt för varje deltagare, i motsats till det vanliga sättet att transkoda all video till samma nivå.

Med nytillskottet C40 innehåller Tandbergs C-serie fyra kodekar utvecklade för att uppfylla alla typer av behov. C-serien är vidare fullt driftskompatibel med alla standardiserade videokonferens- eller telepresence-lösningar såväl som plattformar för integrerad kommunikation (Unified Communications).
